Edith Stein was born into a Jewish family. In 1922, she was baptized a Catholic and later became a Carmelite nun. During World War II, she, along with millions of Jews and other innocent people, was sent to a Nazi concentration camp. Her story of faith, love, and caring has inspired millions. For ages 9–12.
